Matt Imhof, financial advisor, joined Focus Capital Partners as a specialist for our professional athlete division. He was a second-round pick of the Philadelphia Phillies in 2014 before retiring from baseball in 2016. Matt received a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management from California Polytechnic University. His first-hand experience as a professional baseball player adds exceptional insight for the clients that we serve.
In synergy with his prior and current life experiences, Matt serves the firm’s clients as a Sports and Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor as certified by the College for Financial Planning. He specializes in goal-based investment planning, and together with Focus Capital’s holistic approach to wealth management, provides our clients with a comprehensive investment plan. Often times collaborating with tax, estate planning, and liability management experts and utilizing their strategies.
Matt grew up in Fremont, CA and moved to the Las Vegas area shortly after graduating college. He enjoys living in Henderson with his wife, Samantha, and son, Malcolm. Matt is an avid sports fan who enjoys spending his weekends volunteering with various youth sports leagues across the greater Las Vegas Area including being on the Board of Directors for Paseo Verde Little League.
